Q How do I Sign Up to work for RCM Health Care Services and the DOE? No, there is no obligation to RCM Health Care Services while signing up. It is in the health care professional’s benefit to sign up as soon as possible as RCM’s list of Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupation Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Home Health Aides get priority for the best positions for the school year and beyond. Q How do I talk to an RCM Health Care Services professional to get more information about the DOE bid and working with RCM? We would love to hear from you and answer all of your questions! Yes, RCM is accepting professionals from many backgrounds and previous work history. In fact, if you are joining with friends, ask about referral bonuses to make extra cash if you decide to begin working with RCM! Q I am a new graduate Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist or a recently certified Home Health Aide. Can I still work for RCM and the NYC DOE? The New York City Department of Education has very specific qualifications to work for the largest school system in the country. In order to qualify, RNs are required to have at least two years experience as well as a valid RN license and updated CPR certification to be considered. OTs, PTs and SLPs must currently be licensed. HHAs must be certified. Q What if I already work with RCM Health Care Services, can I still work with the New York City Department of Education? Yes.
